You should have your slab in the next day or two. My house pretty much faces your street and i will be moved in in a few weeks so I will be sure to keep an eye on your progress. You'll see us soon enough, now it's started we probably wont be able to stay away much checking up on things haha. jpmontoya I reckon you will have slab getting poured tomorrow Hope so! We are going to check tonight but as long as it's before the weekend we'll be happy. jpmontoya What are your ceiling heights ? Also your slab is going to be huge.. how big is the floor area? 31c internal, 28c garage, 31c alfresco coffered. House area is 203m, total 272m. Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters [Bricks] 33Jul 18, 2016 5:24 pm Exciting times! I went every day when my bricks started. With mine the bricks started exactly 4 weeks after the slab went down, which was about 2 weeks after they were delivered. There's another celebration house across from us and they are about a week ahead and they didn't have walls started yet on the weekend so that would also suggest we wont have walls this weekend. Can always dream haha Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters [Bricks] 35Jul 20, 2016 10:45 am There are quite a few things they deliver before they start the bricks. I believe they were; Bricks, Window Frames, Sliding Door Frames, Front Door Frame, Skip Bin, Toilet, Storage Shed, Mortar, and possibly some other little bits. I think once I had all of those on site they started. Across the road got their toilet when they got their slab and they also already have door frames. Something else we dont have yet is our temporary power? Hopefully at least most of that has arrived this week then! Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters [Bricks] 37Jul 20, 2016 7:56 pm OMG we got some walls!!! Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters [Brickwork] 38Jul 21, 2016 2:19 pm So wasn't really expecting this but went to visit last night and found this! Things we noticed : - Bricks going up fast! and earlier than expected. - We really should have considered backyard access more especially with the house pushed to 1m from boundary at the front. Hopefully we can get stuff into the back via neighbours before they are built or before fences go in without needing to completely dismantle everything. - Everything looks bigger now with walls, we were worried about the theatre and backyard in particular but now we are quite happy with them. Also a nice little nook for a future outdoor kitchen is even more obvious now. - 31c throughout the whole house is going to be great. Especially with the house raised up abit from road level, gives it a nice big presence on the street front. We were always unsure about the elevation but liking it so far, still need to see the porch and front door come to life though. - The windows are all bigger than we expected, a product of the higher ceiling was higher windows. - Especially in the living dining, I dont even know if we need lights in there, the moon will do a good job coming in with all the glass in there! - How exciting!
