Ok, I can finally reveal the kitchen/living area. Everything complete including the flowers Photo overload time.
Open plan living with massive island looking over the sunken lounge. Polished concrete came up pretty well except for some rough patches which we expected while trying to achieve a burnished look.

All Siemens cooktops. 2 burner gas on the left followed by Induction Hob, then Teppenyaki and finally Wok Gas Burner. We thought it would be good to have a range of options with cooking. Sirius brand undermount rangehood with external motor.

Butler's cafe style pantry with matt white subway tiles, my beautiful ECM coffee machine and Mazzer grinder, filtered water + Blanco boiling hot water mixer. LED strip lighting continued here. Pantry has sensor light so no more forgetting to switch off the pantry light!

If you were to ask me what do you love most about the house, it would have to be the 'centrepiece' timber pillar. After spending 6 months trying to source it, then another 15 hours brushing and sanding, then putting it into place with 6 of us and finishing it off with a modern Zen switch, I don't think it could have turned out any better.
