Took a drive up to see the land and I was pleasently surprised to see they have cut the land! I'm not sure when it was done but we were only 10 business days in to the countdown!

Great news kays_first_home. We have fences and a portaloo so we are thinking possibly this week they may start turning dirt. Mind you, we have 2 houses being built behind us from another 'reputable' company and ended up with a massive mound of dirt on our block despite the fences. We witnessed the dumping and told them to move it. They kindly offered to leave it there, we are removing dirt not adding. When we went today they have started moving it. More then half gone. They better get the rest removed ASAP as we don't want to be held up when our guys go onsite.

Finally have our floors down and our blinds up...slow progress but happy with how it's coming together.

Yes went well thank you,few hiccups with the finishing of our home but mostly fixed now so here's hoping we can continue unpacking at snails pace lol

Had a quote yesterday which was little more than we want to pay, but we are doing a double width drive from gutter to garage!

Jeez that's pretty bad! Glad its getting sorted but. Will be exciting once they cut your block!!

Also do you just select flooring, bathroom tiles and paint colors ?

You select everything at the colour appointment except tiles. Such as bricks, roof, all colours, kitchen etc etc.. Tiles you do it at the tile shop you choose which this you can do before council approval if you choose.

Thanks Kay. We've already done the external colors so I assume it's just paint and bathroom cabinets and kitchen ?
