We're about to embark on the building process and I'm considering using the same bricks as yours. They look fabulous! Last weekend, we arrived at the block to see that our drop footings (we have a slight slope - the back of the block is a little higher than the front) were in and the pre-lay complete! It looks both huge and tiny at the same time (something I didn't actually think was possible.) We've checked the slab measurements and it's millimetre perfect. Needless to say, we're pretty chuffed. It might well be millimetre perfect, but it appears they may have missed some re-entrant bars in the internal corners..please check any other photos if you have any? Re-entant bars limit cracking which won't bother you should you choose to carpet..though future cracked tiling is my main concern...Thanks for the photos I always recommend taking several photos and have them checked before the concrete is poured. They are hoping to reach plate height by the end of this week which is great news! We went back later that evening to take some photos of the progress.
