My CLO got back to me and my SS has agreed to our proposition to use Osprey in the wet areas and wait for Ocean Foam to come back into stock for the kitchen and pantry! We are just sorting out the variation and then full steam ahead! What a relief. Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - waiting for ston 329Jun 10, 2016 5:23 pm Awesome news glad you found a solution Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - waiting for ston 330Jun 16, 2016 4:10 pm Well you wouldn't read about it! Who is ready for the latest in the stone gate saga??? First of all, I was all set to have my window coverings lady meet me at the house on Monday just gone, but long story short I got called into work at last minute so had to cancel her and our SS with a couple of hours notice. I got a call from our CLO later on Monday afternoon though, I had spoken to her on Friday about getting a credit before I signed the variation to Osprey in the wet areas, as I paid a bit more to get Ocean Foam in there. So I was expecting it to be about that, but it was good news! They'd had a call from the cabinet maker and Ocean Foam was due back in stock on Tuesday. Far earlier than late July that they'd anticipated. So the question was did I want to proceed with Osprey and a credit, or forget the whole thing had ever happened and go with Ocean Foam everywhere as per the original plan. Ocean Foam please! So glad I didn't sign the variation last week after all. In other news, sadly nothing much has happened at the house this week, I see the bath and pedestal sink for the powder room have arrived. I have an Aunt visiting from overseas and I was hoping to show her through, we had to settle for walking around with our noses pressed to the windows this morning. With stone gate sorted, we now have our tile meeting locked in for Monday and I have rescheduled the window coverings lady for then also. Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - waiting for ston 335Jun 22, 2016 10:15 pm All go at our place today, with a little bit of interesting activity over the weekend too. Had our landscaping consultation on Saturday, we are using Denise from Outside In based in Como. She has some great ideas and has had the idea to move our pool towards our alfresco so you get the pool view from the living room. I'm looking forward to seeing our plan when it is ready When I arrived at the house on Monday for my tiling meeting, look what our SS was having to sort out! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Some bugger kicked out door in, fortunately nothing was taken. It was fixed first thing Tuesday morning. We have finalised our window treatments as well, plantation shutters to the living, minor bedrooms and playroom; a cellular blind to the master and office with a sheer over it, and a sheer to the stacker door in the living room. We will do the kitchen and wet areas later when we work out what we want! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Ok so the important stuff! Stone has been installed!
