You have to book in final colours at final interview so you have time to keep thinking , we didn't encounter any issues with this. Our electrical is now also complete poor sparky had to work in our absolute mud pit!! A coupe things left to finish such as installing our island bench, kids built in robes and painting. Can't be long now! Just so you know fairmont are having delays with painting at the moment. Like The Great Brickies Shortage of 2014, they now don't have enough painters as they have all been getting sick and injured. Our SS estimated mid July handover for us and all we have left is stormwater, painting and garage doors. Fairmont are doing temp stormwater until we get ours done after handover. The lady at fairmont said we aren't scheduled for painters yet so I would assume that is the shortages that you speak of, we have minor things left but glad electrical is done. They didn't do any stormwater for us except put the downpipes on of course. Was a few weeks delay before our painter started and then he took quite a few days off which was frustrating.
