Yeah they really went nuts from Wednesday onwards. Someone was there every day even for a short period on Saturday. Good to see some progress finally. The colorbond roof is booked for Monday. Hopefully the weather holds out so it can get done. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 187Jun 05, 2016 10:02 am Saint Girl At last!! We're hoping it'll be quite a large entertaining area. We're pretty happy with the size of the Alfresco too; as we were a little worried it would end up being small. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 188Jun 05, 2016 10:04 am Elite01 Now definitely coming together! Looking good ? Cheers Elite. Seems like the trade problems in our areas are getting sorted now. John gave me the rundown for the next couple of weeks, so I'm really hoping the weather doesn't push any of it back. Bloody Melbourne weather! Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 190Jun 06, 2016 7:31 pm Lyn11 Thanks Lyn, we were supposed to have the Colorbond roof on today, but unfortunately nobody showed up on site. Hopefully the real bad weather holds off for another couple of days, but I don't like our chances Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 191Jun 06, 2016 8:21 pm camma18 Elite01 Now definitely coming together! That's good you're getting a bit more communication and things are picking up on site! I hate this weather but it's 10 x worse whilst in the middle of a build! Definitely think the trades issue has been sorted. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 193Jun 08, 2016 4:43 pm Wow!! What colour is your roof cam? I like it! And what bricks are you going with? A better photo of it more finished: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We're using Daniel Robertson - Apricot Blend for our bricks. Hanging to see the bricks! MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 195Jun 08, 2016 5:55 pm Roof looks great. I love how colorbond appears to change colour in different weather conditions. Im sure you'll find that too. I swear it looks like we change our roof colour every few days. Glad your tradie situation is sorted. We haven't had anyone on site for a few days. It's seems our painters are not running to schedule and have been held up on a couple of other jobs. Hopefully they catch up quickly as I don't think anything else is going to happen with our house until they've finished painting Have your bricks been delivered yet? viewtopic.php?t=81336 Building with MainVue...Modified Ivory 436...our journey Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 196Jun 08, 2016 6:23 pm Yeah its hard to get a good idea on what it looks like from the photos. We'll get a better look at it when we head to site on the weekend. Yeah it's a shame when there are days that go by with nobody on site. Has your SS told you how much of the painting is left to do? They'll probably deliver the rest by next week. Was told the Brickie might start Monday week. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 198Jun 08, 2016 7:33 pm Love it! Looks great! I like Daniel Robertson bricks but they are way too expensive for our budget. Thanks Lyn. Yeah they're pretty expensive, but we think they'll work the best for our neighbourhood. We're really hoping they look great when they get laid, so we're slightly nervous. Thanks for much mate. I see that you do cabinets before flooring.
