I think it turned out pretty well - and certainly better than a normal laminate with no grain. OMG I Love your kitchen and your floor!!! Which flooring did you go for and was this the polytec ravine timber look units? I worried I wouldn't find a floor to match! I just got a large sample of the polytec natural oak in the mail today and i put it down on my Parador Trendtime 6 Oak Castell limed laminate flooring and you can't tell the difference.. They match that well.. So thats another option you can look at Re: Polytec Ravine...timber look 12May 27, 2016 6:55 pm Hi guys Is this floor the engeneered timber oak or is it te full oak planks Thanks Re: Polytec Ravine...timber look 14Aug 13, 2016 12:06 pm travisaus I did the front of my island and some overhead cupboards in it. I am using the ravine oak as open shelving in my kitchen and benchtop/broom cupboard in laundry. Can't wait to see how it turns out. But for the flooring I'm wanting to use vinyl planks and finding a colour similar has been difficult, also going to run the flooring up the back of the island. The closest pick so far I have found is Carpet Court's Provincial Lane Summer Oak which is a little darker but with similar tones. if anyone finds anything else in vinyl which is similar let me know!! CollectionProvincial Lane VIf anyone finds something eles Also if anyone is interested, I also got one of the bathroom vanities in Ravine Natural Oak from Tradelink to tie it in alltogether which was a bit cheaper than going a totally custom vanity. What colour is your grey polytec part of your ktichen? Horizontal costs extra, and depending on door sizes (and colour) vertical may not be possible. 1 1168 Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 11494 Anyone know the performance and cost difference between the two? TIA 0 275 |
