[/quote] Ha ha ha ha looks fantastic, you must be so pleased. I love your colour choice. I cannot wait to be at that stage of my build...... (still living in the house that will be removed) May I ask Cinder, how far up off the ground (finished floor level) is your house at the front? We will have to have our finished floor level approx. 1m off natural ground level. The verandah/front decking at least not quite so high. Just trying to get a sense of what it will look like. Thanks WoH Re: Classic style weatherboard Melb -driveway/landscaping- y 756May 18, 2016 9:40 am WifeofHunza Now to sit out on the porch with my shotgun to make sure no one messes with it! Thanks WoH Thank you Don't worry, you'll get there! Um good question. At street level our block is quite flat - the slope kicks in more towards the middle & bottom of the block. I'll have to ask hubby for you. But if you go to my first post it shows the elevation diagrams, so you can get an idea. But basically at the front the house isn't off floor level. The 'lift' or whatever the technical term is doesn't start til about end of the garage because the garage is a concrete slab. See what I am saying? Actually I'll just link the image here: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My Hamptons build (completed): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63370 Moved in Wednesday 11th Dec 2013 Front landscaping completed June 2016 Re: Classic style weatherboard Melb -driveway concreting pou 757May 18, 2016 9:48 am Quick photo of how the driveway spraying is going: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think it'll dry a little lighter. You can see the fence posts are in too, I am actually wondering if they will be able to fit 3 Manchurian Pear trees in there now, because the fence has to be in set from the boundary as that's council land (or something).
