Now we have started on carpet. Went to harvey norman and like the look and feel of smart strand silk rare beauty. Now to decide on colour, as we are going for greys and white I have borrowed 2 samples today. A light and dark grey. Would love to hear what people think. I am in 2 minds I like the darker one as it adds some contrast where as the lighter one I am concerned it will end up being all the one colour from floor to walls. The light I like as it flows well with the tile and will probably allow for a greater range of furniture options again just what I am thinking haven't got any real experience with this. The plaster board behind shows out paint choices, Skirting is haymes white wash and walls are haymes Spatial.
