The Boutique ones are here and this details the installation process which looks alot more completed than the cheaper versions seen on ebay. Probably why the cost is $800 when drain is $270 (lots of labour). http://www.alustain.com.au/spartan_drains.html The alternative I am thinking could be a full bamboo grate whole floor...though not sure if that would avoid mould... Just looking for opinions on a new style of shower i've found. They are formed during the slab pour. The entry is at floor level and falls 20-30mm to the rear of the shower. At the rear is a stainless steel grate which runs the whole width of the shower IE: 900mm in my case. This makes it very easy for tilers too, especially using large format as they can tile straight across the front then down. I'm only looking for opinions as I'm thinking about standing in the shower on a slope, albeit 25mm, would this be noticable to the person showering at all?? Thanks... Over the years we have installed many differnt shower/bases configurations, rangeing from poly marble bases in all sizes through to cast in shower bases in slabs and timber floors. This is the rule of thumb guide that we use, and have never had any problems. http://www.universalshowerbase.com.au/i ... puddle.pdf Ben LEADING THE WAY IN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION BUILDERSEDGE PTY LTD Re: SLOPING SHOWER RECESS TO STAINLESS GRATE..? 15Aug 08, 2009 10:31 am Hi, i am new to this forum. I renovated my bathroom and found this great website. Their shower drains / grates look great and worked fine. Much cheaper than buying from bathroom outlets. I paid $165 for a 900mm. Delivery was only $18.
