We signed paid deposit last Feb, contract signed in last Sept, and won't be in till July (they say). Looking at our house today, half the house is now bricked. Very happy with progress so far. Hopefully next week or two will be our electrical and air con rough ins. I did buy some beautiful glass and concrete pendant lights for over kitchen bench at Masters last fortnight when they had a 40% off sale. They sell same ones in Beacon lighting, but for a much cheaper price! Can't wait to see them in, as I think they will look great! I am thinking of getting timber/metal industrial stools for kitchen, but wondering if they were pushed or fell over, would they possibly crack the floor tiles??? They are just standard tiles, glued to slab. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 11997Apr 06, 2016 7:50 pm Woohoo rebuild that's so exciting, the count down is real now!! Well I'm thinking were 2-3weeks behind you than fingers crossed, painting starts Monday and tiling the following if all goes to plan.. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 11998Apr 06, 2016 7:50 pm Looks great el-verdelho love your brick choice Re: Who is building with Beechwood 12000Apr 06, 2016 9:37 pm Verdelho5T What bricks are they el-verdelho? They're Whitsunday Brampton - originally had Urban One Latte, had to change just two weeks ago because of a bad batch but so happy we did!! Love the new bricks more! No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 22277 No, not yet. It’s currently being assessed by our building surveyor 4 19523 With that sort of soil type if you ask for a design to include piers then I would also include void formers. That way you should reduce the chances of settlement and heave. 7 20003 |
