Other builders quoted us much less but Bentley had the right design for us and the overall price was similar to other builders despite the high site costs. We are building in Woodlea Stage 4 (due to title in Feb/March). Hi there. Have you finalised your site costs with your builder? What type of slab is recommended for your build. We are not looking at building with a volume builder at the moment. They are not recommending building with a waffle pod slab at woodlea because of the clay fill onsite. Im a little concerned as i dont want issues down the track and would love to know what other future home owners have been advised. Re: Woodlea building 13Apr 04, 2016 8:35 am Hi micgrech Our site costs were finalised at $17,200. Our slab had to be upgraded from a waffle M class Tia P class due to moisture and clay in the soil. I would definitely recommend the fixed site costs offer provision for a P class slab. We are building with Bentley Homes, not a volume builder but still big enough to put me at ease. They build 50 homes a year. Re: Woodlea building 15Apr 12, 2016 9:42 pm I think they do custom build. My experience with them has been great so far, all timelines have been met and my account manager is very efficient. We start building in about two weeks so I am interested to see how that process, the most important, will go. My partner and I bought in stage 10, we're on Suffolk Place, so we might not be far away from you Stellamatt! We are otherwise new to the forums and building a single storey Almalfi with Mainvue (pretty sure) when our land titles at the end of the year (hopefully). Has anyone else had similar valuation issues as mentioned above? Re: Woodlea building 20Apr 14, 2016 10:56 am Its good to see discussion happening around Woodlea.. Has anyone heard about Bridgefield Estate which is about 1-2 kms away from woodlea? Hey, how did you end up with choosing the construction company? I'm going to be with Metronest soon. I've seen a few reviews of Metronest and they say it's fine overall… 3 5810 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 111281 |
