In the mean time we have removed required trees and maintained the block. Been a couple of visits to dons tiles at heatherbrae. Trying to make tile selection a bit more stream lined. We are wanting to stick to the standard range of tiles and increase the cieling. Can any help me with rough idea on price. We have 1.2 standard plus i think 1.8 or 2.0 for shower and have 2.7 cielings. Hi mim_feher, not sure how to work out your measurement for bathroom, if you are looking for fully tiled bathrooms....these are cost for my bathrooms might give you a rough idea. 1. Principle ensuite :- full height standard range ceramic wall tiles $2450 ( FF ceiling height to 2590mm ) 2. Guest room :- full height standard range ceramic wall tiles $2400 ( GF ceiling height to 2740mm ) 3. Main bathroom :- full height standard range ceramic wall tiles $2320 ( FF ceiling height to 2590mm ) These prices are from 2014 not sure what will happen when we go for tiles appointment. viewtopic.php?=31&t=81624 Re: Building a Sekisui house Now Holmesville 313Mar 24, 2016 1:20 pm shazaw mim_feher So not much happening here we are waiting for the finance side of things to be fully sorted then we can move forward to site. The only additional pricing you could be subject to is if you like tiles outside the standard range. I'm too scare to go, knowing me, I will end up liking something outside the standard range and come back home crying. viewtopic.php?=31&t=81624 Re: Building a Sekisui house Now Holmesville 315Mar 25, 2016 9:51 am mim_feher Total of building area is just over 1000m2. We are waiting on a site start date all paperwork has been done have bank approval. Have been emailing sekisui for last 3 days and no response. Really frustrating just want this house started been a long time in the making. Still haven't decided on tiles for wet areas yet either. Hoping someone can help me with some information, i want to do cat6 data runs, but don't whether to do them through sekisui electrician or after handover. Not sure on price difference etc. I know it is easier for the electrician through construction. I can pass on our costs for things if it helps you figure it out. Might be interesting to ask an external company how much to install things after construction too. We thought it'd be cheaper to get someone else to do the ceiling fans later, but turns out everyone else wanted to charge $110 per ceiling fan, but the Sekisui electrician said something like $85 initially, and then charged us $95 when we went back to them after hand over... This probably doesn't help hey. Its Saturday night.. I've had some vodkas I can pass on any costs you're interested in tomorrow Re: Building a Sekisui house Now Holmesville 319Apr 16, 2016 9:40 pm Lol cat enjoy the vodkas, I also would have thought the fans would have been cheaper after handover. Hmm might re-evaluate that one. The main prices i am looking at are down lights, data runs, updating to exhaust fan and heater in bathrooms. I would be supplying down lights and exhausts so install only. I am think i am going to broke by the time this house is finished. Now we have started on carpet. Went to harvey norman and like the look and feel of smart strand silk rare beauty. Now to decide on colour, as we are going for greys and white I have borrowed 2 samples today. A light and dark grey. Would love to hear what people think. I am in 2 minds I like the darker one as it adds some contrast where as the lighter one I am concerned it will end up being all the one colour from floor to walls. The light I like as it flows well with the tile and will probably allow for a greater range of furniture options again just what I am thinking haven't got any real experience with this. The plaster board behind shows out paint choices, Skirting is haymes white wash and walls are haymes Spatial.
