I absolutely LOVE your floor plan An incredibly beautiful kitchen you have!! I love your inspiration pictures - your style is very similar to what I am aiming for in our home too... I love love the Hamptons style so we are going with Shaker Cabinets throughout. We also have wall/pendant lights in our Master rather than lamps on side tables. I look forward to following your build Building with New Generation Homes in Baldivis, WA 'Building Our New Home - Baldivis': viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82258&p=1513857#p1513857 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Timbers sta 184Mar 22, 2016 2:06 am Everything is looking fantastic and coming on quickly! Maybe next week? A few of the builds around us have caught up/overtaken us this week. It turns out our fascia was stolen, we had new stuff delivered Wednesday afternoon and installed along with the eave linings on Thursday, I think we lost about a day and half because of it. Next steps will be the roof plumbing and having the pipes chased in, my guess is that will happen this week and the tiles will be delivered and laid next week. Will see how right I am As usual, progress photos: Tuesday: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ the beginning of the frame for the cladding Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ timbers finished and clippy things installed Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Wednesday: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hardiflex in the garage has been done Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Friday: Fascia on, eaves done, nice and tidy ready for the next stage: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ spandrel end at the rear corner by our bedroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Alfresco Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 188Mar 29, 2016 1:47 pm Oh I didn't realise you were having a tiled roof! Everything is looking really good it's so annoying not having anyone on site we won't have anyone there for another week because our SS is waiting for his usual plasterer. Has been the longest 2 week wait of my life! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 189Mar 29, 2016 7:07 pm Robina Everything is looking great. They seem to be really going fast. Such a lot done. A nice clean site too. It's awful when there's no one site. They are going pretty quick - but there are some places in our release absolutely flying up! And others who must still be stuck in the paperwork phase lol kait-e Oh I didn't realise you were having a tiled roof! Everything is looking really good it's so annoying not having anyone on site we won't have anyone there for another week because our SS is waiting for his usual plasterer. Has been the longest 2 week wait of my life! Hopefully he'll be good once he gets there - must be worth waiting for if the SS thinks so. Yep we are having Monier Horizon tiles in black sambuca, same as the Wisteria display. Mr W2T wanted tiles so I let him have that one! Anyway the third time, about 3.30, the gutters had been delivered and placed nicely in the garage. Here's hoping they don't go missing like the fascia! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 191Mar 29, 2016 9:48 pm MrsMaccaPacca The Wisteria display home is my absolute favourite!! Mine too! I think one of the Affinity displays has similar theming inside (some of the furniture was moved there) and the Aston - might have to take a NOR road trip one weekend to check them out Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 192Mar 29, 2016 9:49 pm We drove all the way to Perth just to see the wisteria display, definitely a favourite of ours! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 193Mar 30, 2016 1:34 am Love the Wiseria decor! Will have to check out the Affinity display then - even though no longer building I love visiting the DAH displays in particular. Great roof choice and will look great with the cladding. Are your external colours the same as Wisteria? Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 194Mar 30, 2016 9:41 pm +Tbrown2012 Are your external colours the same as Wisteria? Pretty much, we are having Surfmist for the garage door and cladding, Dewkist for the main render and Shale Grey for the molding round the bottom. I think the Wisteria is "whiter," the Santa Monica is the same colours for the two renders and garage door I'm pretty sure. Our brickwork took 7 weeks! Ahahahaha! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Roof Carpentry D 196Apr 02, 2016 10:01 am Looking forward to seeing your elevation when finished, just love that feature cladding.Beautiful colours you have gone with Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - electrical prewi 197Apr 03, 2016 6:56 pm So a reasonably big job ticked off this week, although it seems quite insignificant compared to bricks and roof carpentry and the next biggie, the roof cover; we've had our gas, water and electrical run into the house. They've also installed our outside taps and most of the drainpipes. We had our 3rd tap installed outside the laundry on the back of the garage, in hindsight I wish I'd put it on the side of the house, because the garage is single brick, the water pipe runs from underground and up the wall, rather than coming from inside the wall. Really not a biggie, but not something we even thought about when putting it there. I was chatting to our down the road neighbour on Friday and he was impressed with the way our wires have been chased in, apparently his builder has made a dogs breakfast of his, and they've installed 19mm conduits where he paid for 25mm. I had no idea what were were getting but they've put in 25mm anyway Everywhere is a covered with red dust at the moment from the bricks being cut and Mr W2T has disappeared off down to the house this arvo to try and bail out his theatre pool. It filled up with the rain over easter and although it's evaporated quite a bit over the last couple of warm days he is worried about the bricks absorbing too much water. I'll leave him to it! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - electrical prewi 199Apr 16, 2016 2:37 pm Hi Everyone, Haven't posted an update for a couple of weeks almost, but very pleased to say our roof cover went on this week! We also had intelligent homes out doing their thing, they managed to put our phone point in the wrong room - whoopsies! Right place, just in bed 2, not the study - they are the same shape rooms next to each other so fair enough I guess. Called our CLO and she was right onto organising them to come and move it. A big pile of yellow sand has arrived out the front so I hope this means we will have the grey float started next week.
