Might be worth a quick email? So after emailing Tim back in January when we were discussing this, followed by 2 x more emails with no response, my partner rang head office last Wednesday and he finally responded on Friday with 'I will check where you are up to and get back to you'. He's now sent through a Plan order form and said our building contract documents 'should be ready by the end of the month'. I don't understand what has taken so long because we signed Builders contracts and returned straight after Christmas... Did you get a letter when you signed your original paperwork with the number of Tims manager on it? I'd be calling him & telling him you are not satisfied and want this resolved sooner than the end of the month (especially since Easter long weekend is the end of the month!) Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 25Mar 07, 2016 8:07 pm Don't want to be all negative but run away while you can is my advice. Other volume builders have lovely floor plans... We saw the guys putting the rest of the signs in yesterday morning when we were up there.. There's a few missing the sold signs though we noticed.. Hopefully the rest will go on in the next few days! Getting closer now! Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 31Mar 13, 2016 9:00 pm Hi, I'm reading through your thread and see that you got both air con and flooring with the aspire promotion. Did you have to pay extra for the floor? As I thought you could only choose one, air con or flooring included. Would love it if you could get both ![]() I hope your build keeps progressing for you, we are waiting for our land to be registered. Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 32Mar 14, 2016 8:23 am Wow congratulations!!! How exciting!! Did you end up getting everything sorted with Tim? He was always really good with his replies.. unlike head office lol _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 33Mar 14, 2016 9:51 am ![]() Hi, I'm reading through your thread and see that you got both air con and flooring with the aspire promotion. I think there may have been an air con promotion on as well as the Aspire promotion hence why we were able to get the free flooring with the Aspire & also take advantage of the cheaper air con Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 34Mar 14, 2016 9:54 am ![]() Wow congratulations!!! Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 35Mar 14, 2016 10:29 am Hmm strange! Although if your land doesnt register for awhile id leave it as long as you can. We signed in October and land settled in December and we have already had to extend our contract once (lucky we didnt get an increase) and it expires again on the 12th April.. Fingers crossed everything is sorted with council by then! _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 36Mar 14, 2016 10:35 am ![]() Hmm strange! We want to get up there as soon as possible as we have to find jobs etc which will be difficult close to christmas Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 37Mar 14, 2016 10:50 am I know what you mean.. You sound exactly like i did / do! Once our land went in for rego it took about 6 weeks ![]() Im learning nothing happens with Coral unless you hold their hand. Our house went to certifier (so it would go through council quicker..yeah right) on the 1st Dec and we are still in council.. sigh.. Email Tim and unless you get him being more proactive id be moving on. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 38Mar 14, 2016 12:15 pm ![]() ![]() Hmm strange! Hopefully we hear back soon or we'll ring his manager Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 40Mar 23, 2016 3:43 pm FINALLY spoke to Tim, the hold up regarding the contract appointment is due to Coral NSW only having insurance to enter a set amount of builders contract per month. Therefore they will take the clients who have registered land first and any extra spots are given to unregistered land owners as a first in first served basis. Makes sense, but still disappointing as we haven't done anything in regards to the house this year!! Ah well. Looking for electrical quotes if anyone knows an electrician they can recommend?
