We also got the sills in the toilets and bathrooms tiled. It always seems to be the place where things are put on and ends up getting chipped constantly. Re: Build with Redink @ SoR 64Mar 02, 2016 10:16 pm Good idea Decka thanks! Tiler said he would continue on Monday although it's a public holiday. Hi Cc , if you are reading this, I just want to say that we too are happy with the spa stone tiles! They look a bit dark and dull in the photos, but actually look very natural, just what we wanted Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our Redink build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81681 Re: Build with Redink @ SoR 67Mar 26, 2016 3:49 pm Hey teresa.hsh did you end up getting the bisque cloud essastone? We found out a couple of weeks ago that we have to reselect out benchtops and are leaning towards the bisque cloud as there's no similar replacement to the New Sable Luxe. First Complete Home Balidivis Re: Build with Redink @ SoR 68Mar 29, 2016 11:37 pm Hi Cheryltate, yes we did get the Bisque Cloud. Since it was installed in early March I haven't got a chance to go inside the house, I could only go there in the late afternoon after work and peek through the kitchen window, and I kicked myself quite a bit for the choice because the colour appeared to be kind of a very light brown-ish colour, kind of dull, nothing like the "cream-ish" colour as shown in the photo sent from Redink. But today when I managed to get in while painters were there, phew! with the sun light, it looks GOOD! it goes so nicely with the Snow Drift cabinet doors. What a relief! Pity I forgot to take any photos as I was busy showing my mum (visiting from China) around. I think the Essastone should have had the sample slabs in already? Worth to go and check it out. I remember the New Sable Luxe, it's such a nice and rich colour that it was actually my first choice. Then after changing minds few time, somehow we decided on New Chinchilla. Any how we both are happy with the Bisque Cloud now. Would like to see how your re-selection goes. If you still have time, i will strongly suggest you to hold your decision until the slabs are in. We didn't want any delay in our build and hoping for a miracle that we can move in before my son's 9th bday in mid May, so we pretty made our choice straight away. Sample slabs shouldn't be too long now.... that's what the Essastone girl kept telling us anyway Our Redink build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81681 Re: Build with Redink @ SoR 71Mar 31, 2016 10:13 pm Are the samples in now? We are now pretty much just waiting for a PCI call from Redink, hopefully in the next week or so. As we will have few major items to be done after handover, we are looking for quotes etc lately and would like to see if any one can recommend any companies for any of these to-do items: - Flooring. We want to do bamboo throughout, atm we are liking the Embelton Coffee and ARC Champagne. Is any one using either of these two and where did you get them from? Is the workmanship good? If there're any pictures to share, that'd be much appreciated! - Curtain. There're so many choices out there, we love nearly everything we saw in the shops (not helpful I know ). Can any one recommend a good company for that? - Paving. We need to do driveway, veranda, alfresco and areas around the pool. We are thinking either liquid limestone or aggregate for driveway and veranda, timber look outdoor tiles for alfresco, and paving for pool area. Again, it would be great if anyone can recommend some good companies. Other than the above, we will still have painting and splashback to do but we kind of set our mind on Secret Harbour Painting and GlassKote. We look forward to any advice or suggestions on the above items. TIA! Our Redink build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81681 Thank you so much everyone.
