Yeah, essentially we need to raise our finished floor level by a metre... Which puts the ridge pole of a 2 story over 9 metres, and all second story windows would need to be obscured... Completely inflexible on site cost... Plus, we reckon the house would look like the one in Up!, sitting on the edge of a cliff...
