Driveway is now paved with secondhand brick pavers. Would like dark grey fascia, with gables picked out in a "white", same white for windowframes. I am at 13 sample pots and counting... The best contenders for the main colour at the moment are Dulux Self Destruct and Kahlua Milk. Loved Wattyl Smooth Horizon but it is too dark and a half-strength is too washed out/grey (the half-strength SH looks remarkably similar to Dulux Linseed). Should I be looking at even lighter colours? Hog Bristle? Beige Royal? Something else? I don't want anything that will pull pink with the bricks, and I know that I can get away with more yellow than with other non-red brick surfaces, but I don't want anything that looks "yellow" or cream. Have noted that EVERYTHING looks darker and greyer because we face south. Don't want our little cottage to look drab!!! Was thinking Wattyl Thunderbolt for fascia/gutters, and Dulux Natural White for windows and gable timberwork. But that all depends on the main colour...
