Not sure if IKEA is too cheap though.. Nickel in their plating? Lol I'm a difficult customer. I mean it doesn't have to be this light just trying to find ideas. Custom knockdown rebuild Newcastle NSW viewtopic.php?t=78271 Re: (Another) pendant light size question 8Feb 05, 2016 2:25 pm I put the 61cm version in my place - hanging down through void to Dining. I will find picture. Did not get replica - look out for sales at Space Furniture for better pricing. It had to be the 63cm one, any smaller would look wrong Re: (Another) pendant light size question 9Feb 08, 2016 12:19 pm Leksie5000 Hi all.. I really like this pendant https://www.golights.com.au/moooi-raimo ... AkQg8P8HAQ Without getting into the merits of replicas etc..I would love to be able to get the original! However the medium size (63cm) will likely be out of budget. The small (45cm) is ok but I'm not sure if it would be too small for our space. It is a void above a run of about 6 stairs to the house and 6 stairs up to the upstairs lounge room. Our builder thought about 550mm would be a good size, I'm wondering if this is quite bright whether I could get away with the smaller one? Or put the larger one in later? The problem is there is very little ceiling space so its much easier to fit lights now when they have the ladders and scaffold inside and are doing the rest of it. So hard to decide though. Does anyone else have recommendations for a more affordable void light? Looking for contemporary/scandinavian/maybe retro hehe.. our feel is bright and light. I was also thinking maybe the replica george nelson bubble pendant Hi! Our Replica Moooi Raimond Pendant is $498 whereas the original is about $1200. We find with LED, as long as the LED chip is good quality, they don't fail. It's the driver that usually goes. This should be replaceable, but most likely will require an electrician Building Services Engineer Renovating our 1960's modernist home in Brisbane https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=82091 Re: (Another) pendant light size question 16Feb 09, 2016 11:15 am 1960sModernistHome I'd imagine they are not replaceable - probably. The ‘Moooi Raimond Replica LED Pendant Light’ by Fosani Lighting is an exciting and amazing LED Pendant, made from high quality and flexible aluminium, which may sometimes require reshaping during installation, and during lamp change. The thin metal “triangles” are designed to bend to allow for the LED globes to be replaced, and therefore may sometimes kink or “bend” but can easily be moved back into shape, by gently using your fingers.
