What a pain to have to drain all that water! Did they do pencil compaction afterwards? Cara and Matt's First Build - Baldivis 516Feb 12, 2016 11:04 pm Good news our pool didn't need to be emptied as it was only a little out of level on one side so the pool was jacked up and it's all level now. Pencil compaction was to happen yesterday but as we aren't home we haven't seen it yet. Pool shell, Plumber, electrician and handover was all done within 8 days. We aren't getting the wet deck now until we are home. So the pool is all complete, we just put carpet down around the pool for now to reduce sand going into the pool but hopefully our pool cover comes soon. Now it's saving for the flooring to go around it, air conditioning and the decking in our alfresco. Lots of jealousy and only hope we can get in our pool before hot days disappear! Love the colour Re: Cara and Matt's First Build - Baldivis 520Apr 01, 2016 11:03 am So we had the sand compaction done around our pool area and there's still a truck load of sand that needs to go. So we had to contact the pool company and we are awaiting the contractor to book in a date to go back and take the heap of sand. We also got the pool cover delivered and is on the pool so hopefully that saves us some money on filling the pool up. At the moment we are just saving away for the limestone, decking and air con.
