Wow ur house looks awesome! Just wondering where did u get ur pendant lights from? Above the island. I love it. Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 433Mar 31, 2016 9:33 pm Thanks guys. The hot water system is great. It never runs out! What more can I say. There are heating controllers too so you dial up the temp you want and that way your not wasting energy dousing hot water with cold. The pendants are just from bunnings. They had a whole bunch when I was there last week for about 80 dollars. Half price! And is it an expensive upgrade? Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 435Apr 01, 2016 5:55 am joshd Thanks guys. The hot water system is great. It never runs out! What more can I say. To answer your question NarreWarren, the Chromagen Eternity system is similar to the Rinnai Infinity system. It's a continuous flow hot water system, that has a controller in 3 rooms which lets you set your desired temperature. So you don't have to keep adjusting the hot water in the shower, you just turn the hot all the way on and you get the right temp. Correct me if I'm wrong here Josh. Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 436Apr 01, 2016 6:53 am Yep thats right. The water doesnt take too long to heat up. Probably longer compared to a hot water system with a storage tank but honestly its no dramas. Obviously varies on how far the tap is from the hot water service Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 438Apr 01, 2016 4:58 pm Weve got one in the butlers. One on the left side of the mirror in the bathroom and one on the right side of the mirror in the ensuite. Check out our plan to see where that is haha. I had them marked up on the electrical drawing but it didnt help.. when it came to handover the electrician happened to be there which was lucky because they hadnt been fitted off.. they were just in a drawer. Apparantly the plumber is supposed to do it. I guess theyd just use common sense if they arent on a drawing Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 439Apr 01, 2016 5:24 pm joshd Weve got one in the butlers. I'd be fine with that to be honest, but they're not marked anywhere on my plans, and my Admin basically told me there is no way for her to find out. She said the Vendor will decide on the best place, which I'm not very happy about. I'll have to see if our SS will be nice and let me chose where they go. Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 440Apr 01, 2016 5:49 pm Sounds like a plan. Youll be able to see where the wires are run when the plumbing rough in is done before the plaster goes up Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 I second taking your plans elsewhere.
