It's hard as they haven't done painting flooring blinds overheads or paving out the back so that eliminates a lot of problems and our SS been good so far and even noticed things we didn't and got them replaced but still thinking we might get one for PCI just so we know for peace of mind that it's all ok Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 948Jan 13, 2016 10:58 am We didn't have flooring, carpet, air con, painting, the driveway or backyard so that eliminated those aswell but we still had so much more to look at. There was a car parked outside your driveway when I went for my morning walk. A sky blue Camry. Not sure if it was the neighbours across the road parked at your house. Decided building inspector so have emailed him it was Christian from SHS Building inspectors you used wasn't it Cara? Not sure who's car, sick of people parking on our driveway it already has oil marks on it and 3 broken pavers! It needs to be sealed before anyone goes on it that's why the builders have put those piles up to stop people so annoying Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 950Jan 13, 2016 2:34 pm That is terrible that people are parking on your driveway yay for PCI - that is very exciting!!! My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 951Jan 13, 2016 2:34 pm Usually the builder seals the pavers if you have them included in your build, I would check your contract? Yep we used Christian. Our dream home viewtopic.php?t=75306 I saw that car a few times, I think it's a cleaner as saw a woman through the window this morning. It wasn't parked ON the drive just beside it Re: Home Group WA - PCI 22nd JANUARY ✔️✔️ 954Jan 14, 2016 9:47 pm Anyone got any advice about connecting internet and TVs in the new house? We have NBN stuff connected so do I contact NBN after hand over or do I just have to contact our internet provider only? Also we are guessing we will have to get an antenna installed to have the TV points working? Re: Home Group WA - PCI 22nd JANUARY ✔️✔️ 956Jan 14, 2016 11:35 pm Our builder put our antenna on, I'm guessing yours isn't in the contract? But yes you will need one. Jim's Antennas did our previous rental for $170. Just call your preferred Internet provider. We are with Westnet which is the WA company of iinet. I need to lighten up my furniture though. Big regret buying furniture before we moved in I'll send you a pic of them at night time Our dream home viewtopic.php?t=75306 I always wonder why people buy so much before they even move in. Personally I'd rather live in it and see what I want in each space. I have enough furniture for now so just get what I need, when I need it. I totally agree. The vision you have in your head of how things will look before you move in can be totally different of how it will actually look once you have moved in. I am not buying a thing until I move in. viewtopic.php?t=81011 Build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81011 Re: Home Group WA - PCI 22nd JANUARY ✔️✔️ 958Jan 15, 2016 8:18 am quote="Caraf88"] We are with Westnet which is the WA company of iinet.
Our dream home viewtopic.php?t=75306[/quote] Not anymore, Iinet already been taken over by TPG. I will never go will TPG yuck. Nat if you need help to pick and ISP go to whirlpool.net.au. Don't pick optus, really crappy speed during peak hours. I am looking at skymesh, I like small company they have better service. I was with internode until I sold my house, very good service. Sadly Internode was sold to iinet and iinet was taken over to TPG. Helstra does have some good deal:).
