So a few more developments lately. We should be locked up by next week, fingers crossed!

Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Dales in Dawesville 45Dec 19, 2015 3:12 pm ignore the hideous yellow render haha. Eventually it will be Dune. Very impressed with everything so far. It has all slowed down considerably in the last few weeks, but thats to be expected leading up to christmas. We have also chosen and paid for our flooring, so thats one less thing to organise. Re: Dales in Dawesville 47Dec 19, 2015 9:58 pm Glad to see you around, and that things are progressing I like the rendered alfresco and carpets/tiles. What sort of interior design style are you going to have inside? Love your selections for your tiles and carpets Re: Dales in Dawesville 49Dec 20, 2015 4:45 pm Thanks guys! I am in love with the flooring. And it came to roughly the same price as going for very very basic carpets and tiles through the builder. Insane. This is the kitchen bench and cupboard colours next to the floors. We will also have contrasting overhead cupboards in polar white. But we got it from Carpet call. So soft! Re: Dales in Dawesville 54Dec 20, 2015 7:21 pm Looking great! Love your inspo. We just moved into our house in dawesville and were loving it, so quiet! We have met our neighbours either side and they have said its really quiet too. We even get kangaroos in the front yard ? Apparently there have been a few 3am visits to the house by teens on quad bikes, which is awesome. Cant wait for the house to be at lock up. Im going to be there every afternoon making sure its all actually locked haha Must be soo good to be in your house! Its looking beautiful Re: Dales in Dawesville 57Dec 22, 2015 11:27 am Oh really that's no good! We have someone that hoons around on a peewee bike with their kid on the front both no helmets along the road and paths with a beer in hand which is pretty annoying!! And day before we got the keys some kids threw sand rocks at our render/windows but otherwise we didn't really have any dramas, some of the kids that walked past the other day were really polite actually and said I had a lovely house! Which was nice and surprising! Hope the builder keeps it locked up. Thank you it is good! Glad we upgraded" haha. Its a little disappointing as the front door is what i was looking forward to seeing most. Re: Dales in Dawesville 59Dec 23, 2015 8:08 pm Haha re the front door, which one did you choose? We are having the clear glazed 1200mm sentry door - kinda hoping they will give us a fake one too - I can imagine it might for tempting for morons with rocks. I love the concrete and timber on shiny tiles - did you watch the Block? Very scandustrious Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Dales in Dawesville 60Dec 24, 2015 12:25 am Yeah i didnt think about the potential damage. I guess i can wait a little bit longer ? haha. We have a 1200mm infinity 6 panel door going in. I havent watched it at all this year. But the style sounds right up my ally. I might have to watch it and steal some ideas. |
