That is bull c#ap for builder standard tolerance, can see the join, nails and screws lol.
This is more like Ben Trager standard, they try to sweep it under the rug.

Floor sneak peak :) 2222Dec 14, 2015 3:39 pm I've had a few PMs telling me to not accept it as within tolerance so I'll see how the inspection goes by their trade and what he says before we consider our options Carpets and lights are in, photos to come soon Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Our Ben Trager Build - KEYS!! Floor sneak peak :) 2223Dec 14, 2015 4:23 pm Hey Archetto, ceilings have to be installed as per the manufactures specification and I'm pretty sure if you showed those pictures to Boral or whoever the plasterboard was bought they will be able to tell you if it has been installed as per their requirement. That is, "if I installed it as per you companies installation requirements would I get this finish?". Just arm yourself with knowledge. Re: Our Ben Trager Build - KEYS!! Floor sneak peak :) 2225Dec 14, 2015 9:50 pm My ceiling looks much the same as yours.. i have trowel marks in mine and when i pointed it out to my SS he told me I'd caused the damage after handover!!! I was like don't give me that Sh*t you know damn well i did not do that after handover!! He just goes on about how it's within the building standard because if you can't see it during daylight hours then it doesn't count as a defect.. I've emailed my building inspector.. waiting to see what he says.. I also rang the building commission to see what my rights were but they said to get the building inspector to do a report and then i can go from there.. Re: Our Ben Trager Build - KEYS!! Floor sneak peak :) 2226Dec 14, 2015 9:59 pm Gorgeous dining setting archetto! Sorry to hear about your other problems, though I think you're better off addressing them asap, despite the stress and hassle. Re: Our Ben Trager Build - KEYS!!
