Our build - Moved In! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79629 Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 4Dec 01, 2015 9:53 pm huge home. going look super special. Kitchenette is interesting extended family living with you or just for teenage kids to stay out of the main living area? Awesome freestanding bath too. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 5Dec 01, 2015 10:03 pm That's a great plan! Its good to see plans that accommodate different groups of people - with your separate kitchenette/apartment. Beautiful façade too. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 6Dec 01, 2015 10:28 pm Thanks so much. Hope it works. We have a mature disabled son. Hard to work it out. We have a corner block so he should be pretty independent and have lots of privacy. The other bedrooms are for grandchildren. Three generations as I said hope it all works. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 7Dec 01, 2015 10:31 pm It's probably the best thing about building, being able to make the house what you want it to be. Look forward to seeing it come together. Hope you all had a fantastic Xmas. Thought I would practise downloading photos. Our block with sign. Very exciting. Hopefully won't be too long now. Also will try a few more pics. My pendant lights for over kitchen bench. Also tile choices. Not good pictures of tiles and carpet and vinyl planks. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 16Dec 31, 2015 12:25 pm Looking awesome Robina. Seems everyone is liking the snowdrift. We picked it as well. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 19Jan 03, 2016 12:24 pm Hi everyone I was wondering if you could have a look at my WIP and see what you think. I did ask for laminated but sales rep talked me out of it. I'm worried the door will be a pain with the freezer opening on to it. I thought about just not having a door. I wish I'd just gone for shelving and not a WIP. The longer I wait for build to start the more things I want to change. Thanks Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 20Jan 03, 2016 12:34 pm Can do a couple of things 1) leave as is to see if it works. If it doesn't, take off door once you move in. (No cost) 2) make it open inwards. (Shouldn't be a cost) 3) make it open out to the other side (again, shouldn't be a cost) 4) change to bi-fold or two small doors. Less intrusion into surrounding area. (That's going to cost you) But having a door there will make it look better regardless. Wish we had gone the laminate too (as displayed....) viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 That drawing’s in the old units.
