I've been told the only way to have a shower recess in my flat is to have a step to enter the shower recess area, it needs to be on an upper level due to the set up of the sewerage system in the block. Is there any plumbing at the base of this proposed shower? Some photo's would be good... Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Mainly the building part!! Re: Shower Recess 3Jan 11, 2009 9:08 pm If you are on an upper floor, the problem with having a walkthrough shower with no step is that there is no way for the waste to get connected as the plumber will have no access underneath.
