Now for the updates: We got the keys tuesday 24 Nov. and had a few catch up with some tradies to finish up the last touch up at the house on wednesday then that afternoon we started smashing the walls with a sealer binder (dulux oil based if anyone wants to know). Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Then builder ordered our house to be cleaned on thursday morning, best thing of the entire build the guy that cleaned our house took it to another level and everything is squeaky clean, by this time im kicking myself because i didnt take photos oh well.... Then thats when the house is officially ours and ours alone then we sealed more walls on that day very tiring.. Lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We offically moved in yesterday, friday. I can see you've got your cage lights so you must've won that one - would love to see the surfmist door - was it difficult to paint? x Re: HAND OVER COMPLETED 24/11/2015 Alkimos WA, Trinity(ateli 572Dec 01, 2015 9:22 pm Lovely photos, glad you are enjoying your new home Re: HAND OVER COMPLETED 24/11/2015 Alkimos WA, Trinity(ateli 573Dec 09, 2015 2:58 pm MalSannie How lovely are those pictures, MrsTerry - happy and beautiful family in a lovely home! I can see you've got your cage lights so you must've won that one - would love to see the surfmist door - was it difficult to paint? x Thanks mals! Painting the front door was a pain i had to sand it lightly and then prime it since it was from dark to light. The surfmist looks really lovely and im so glad i painted it to a lighter colour. I was told i should put shale grey on top to bring it out even more.. But see what happens Regarding the cage light.. You wont believe how much i got it for, $15 each at kmart scrore definitely. And im goin for a scandinavian deco at home. Which goes perfectlyt to what im achieving. I can always paint it to a lighter colour if i want to. But at the moment im happy Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 Re: HAND OVER COMPLETED 24/11/2015 Alkimos WA, Trinity(ateli 574Dec 09, 2015 2:59 pm jelbell55 Lovely photos, glad you are enjoying your new home Thanks jelbell we have been very busy getting the house set up and make it more homely for us xx Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 Re: HAND OVER COMPLETED 24/11/2015 Alkimos WA, Trinity(ateli 575Dec 09, 2015 3:15 pm Updates.. We get to buy our own clothesline which is super awesome! hubbys very proud of his work since he's done it for 24hrs lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ive been buying some indoor plants, bought some mother inlaws tongue, very lovely plants, not so lovely the name lol And we got us some chilli plants too! $2 each at masters yay! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The set up... Im aiming for a scandinavian deco in the house, but i went for a darker tone since our flooring is in greyish tone but with lots of light decos around and some greens (plants) so it brings both scandinavian X industrial-ish but more scandinavian... I hope that make sense lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My inspiration..white tones.. grey tones..
