We had that discussion with ours, decided to go the way we have as it does "close off the entry" and when you walk through "reveal" the rake. (oh my, can't believe i just said that, watching to much of the block i think). Either way will be fine I also have soffits it in my entry and in ensuite as well. I guess, the one in ensuite is given if I want to put door in future. I am also confused whether I would like it or not. I don't think builder will allow to make changes now Our build - Moved In! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79629 Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - Doors Hung - Lockup Wed 585Oct 27, 2015 10:10 am Your build is really moving along and it seems to be with relative ease. Tomorrow I really don't see why they can't give out keys, If ours is plastered I want to get in and undercoat the walls over the xmas break but somehow I think I will be crawling through windows (at least I won't have to climb up scaff again ). Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - Doors Hung - Lockup Wed 590Oct 27, 2015 11:28 am Sadly don't think we will make Christmas. realistically I think beginning of February. Activa close down from mid December to mid Jan. I have the OK to do outside stuff at my own risk, so may start the decking and a retaining wall during that time. It's going to be a super kitchen. Great idea to get outdoor stuff done before you move in. There is so much sand you will really appreciate it being able to walk in without it all coming too.
