I think maybe tomorrow or the next day he should be done. No one else has been on site this week so the doors, arch and skirts are still on the floor. I find it a bit odd that our cabinets are all in and we are not even at lock up yet. All the doors are always not only unlocked but wide open. I'm guessing the plaster guys will need to come back and do the garage wall when the bricks are finished. Do they put cornice on the porch and alfresco plaster or just beading or similar? Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 192Oct 14, 2015 10:39 pm Super slow brickie! At least it's not holding up progress! You probably will get lock up and fix invoices together! I'm not sure of I should tell SS or email the office. Instead of cutting small pieces of brick to fit in he has just put big blobs of mortar around the alfresco and porch beams. Looks terrible Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Also discovered that our bins in the bin drawer are the small ones not the big ones we ordered so that will need to be fixed. Also annoyed the plaster was cut short in the bathrooms under the window so even with the architrave on there is a gap. I realise it will be tiles but still it's pretty poor workmanship Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ There is also a gap under our bedroom window which I'm sure they will just bog up Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Also our master window is broken Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Now for the good. Does the SS have an email, or just a ph number? The internal doors look great. Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 196Oct 15, 2015 7:34 pm I've got no idea, hubby is the one that's spoke to him but he's away for work. He's back tomorrow so might just let him do the chasing up Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 197Oct 16, 2015 9:51 pm There was no one working on site today. I'm not sure why, the skirts and architraves are only half done. Any way I used the opportunity to go and pick up all the rubbish and sweep all the floors. Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 198Oct 18, 2015 12:07 pm No work on the house on Friday or the weekend That's ok I was distracted anyway. Ran my 4th half marathon today. My slowest yet but considering I've been distracted and done pretty much no training I was happy to just finish it! My daughters birthday tomorrow so I have to get baking now. So wish I had my nice new kitchen to bake in. Starting to get nervous that we have made the right decision on floor plan and colours now - bit late for that, I know Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 199Oct 18, 2015 5:57 pm jessicana10 No work on the house on Friday or the weekend That's ok I was distracted anyway. I've been away at a triathlon in Yarrawonga for the weekend! Great distraction from house stalking/packing! I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 8194 |
