Ours has been a very long journey though. We bought our land almost 2 years ago (November 2013) and have had a 20 month battle to reduce our BAL rating from FlameZone- which we have succeeded in doing:). It's now BAL 40 on 3 sides and BAL 29 on one side so a significant savings in costs. Look forward to seeing your progress. 11/11/13- dep paid 4/4/14- settlement Feb '15- DA app 6/8/15- CC site works begin 19/8/15- Formwork 25/8/15- slab 3/9/15- elect. appt 13/10/15 - frame started 19/10- bricks started 31/10 - roof done Re: Our 4 bed custom build 5Sep 28, 2015 11:03 am Posting to follow also. We were meant to have the frames and walls done by Christmas break but I was told yesterday by my partner that they might do the frames over the chrissy break! So we're not looking like we will be in before feb at this rate!
