Hi everyone - Just wondering how long everyone took to get into their new home after final handover ? How long did it take to get occupancy cert and what else do we need to wait for before we move in once complete ?
Thanks heaps

The question originally was how long after handover do you get the occupancy cert. Neither points are valid now. However the point of an occupancy cert is to signify that a premesis is safe to occupy. I've not seen a surveyor not issue one due to incomplete landscaping ever. Builders want to get paid. Correct. Ours was issued before any landscaping occurred. We moved in and will begin landscaping this weekend (weather permitting). We are also yet to get a driveway due to bad weather which also did not affect the COO being issued. Ours took a day from receiving to handover. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Beckham: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67280 Canterbury: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81175 Congratulations!
