The look will always come and go, so do what you think you would be happy with. The owner of this kitchen is still thrilled with it. Small space kitchens should be white, which is why I chose all white. We were originally going to have Licorice Linea under bench cupboards and Parchment overhead cupboards. After reading this I wondered whether I'd be tired of the two tones in 10 years time. Today we visited the showroom & have changed all our cabinetry to White with a silk finish. Boring, but plenty of potential to add color by accessorising. We have the exact same colors for our kitchen and not too keen on it and its only been 1 year lol! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! If anything is going to date ours its the splashie I think. I was adamant I didn't want all white, I find it quite boring and clinical. The two tone kitchens do look lovely, however, I think I am going to do an all white kitchen. It will be softened by bamboo/wooden flooring and I think the contrast will look really nice. I can get something a bit different in pendant lighting. I am also thinking of bench tops being a different colour (light grey or linen or a white with a fleck or even the concrete caesarstone or something like that). I also have a window splashback and we will put some kind of greenery outside which will look nice and soften it.
