And there should be no problem to do split system after handover. Just bring your house plan and show them. Which lot is yours btw? Yeah I agree very important especially as you'll have pipework and cable poking out of the drywall after sheeting and the likeliness of it being damaged goes right up then. I had issues with the plasterers my builder used kinking all my pipework which was roughed in and since I was installing my own air conditioning, the builder put it back on me to deal with. I was able to repair/recover the smaller pipes (1/4" and 3/8") but the larger 5/8" pipes I had to cut off and crimp on an elbow piece to get it to where I needed it to go as the kinks were too deep to do anything with. It was alot more time and additional cost for materials I shouldn't have had to make allowances for.
