Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 8Aug 31, 2015 6:54 pm ColleyCrew Hey! Photo didn't work for me. We are also building with Redink but in the Midwest region and getting married in October. Doing both is so stressful but i think im more excited about the house than the wedding ( i dont do well being the centre of attention haha) looking forward to following along. Haha it so funny you say that I am exactly the same - much more excited about the house. The wedding is just one day and we have been together for 8 years now so it feels like we are married already! Congrats on your wedding though! Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 9Aug 31, 2015 8:19 pm Great floor plan are you on a corner? Huge master suite. Our Build Thread - JG king Memphis Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 10Aug 31, 2015 8:37 pm No we are looking a block that isnt a corner. I have always dreamt of having a large master I think the final plans are bringing it down to about 4.5 x 4.5. Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 11Aug 31, 2015 8:51 pm Hope you can find a non corner block. Big master is great we've compromised a bit on ours but love the rest of the house. Your plan looks good cant wait to see when it all comes together Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 13Sep 01, 2015 10:21 am Posting to follow! We are also building a version of the Ashby with Redink, although I can't see your plans as for some reason they aren't showing on my PC at the moment. I will have to go and check on Tapatalk! Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 14Sep 01, 2015 10:30 am No worries Nikkis2000! Who are you dealing with as your designer? The lady we are dealing with is fantastic so it has been a breeze - so far haha Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 15Sep 01, 2015 11:17 am Ooh love what you've done with the kitchen and adding the scullery. I Love seeing how people do different things with similar layouts! What size block are looking for? Our designer was Anthony. He was really good, though with the benefit of hindsight and seeing it in the flesh there a couple of things we would have done differently. Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 16Sep 01, 2015 11:45 am Thank you yes we are pretty excited about the plan! We are looking at 1 acre blocks I would get bigger but you get more council requirements like water tanks etc so 1 acre will do Our designer is Eleanor she's at the Redink home in Honeywood, our kitchen and master is based off that house I absolutely love it. Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 17Sep 20, 2015 10:05 am We have land! So exciting! We found out the building envelope is 25m so have had to narrow our house a little and rotate the minor rooms so everything fits, but we are so pleased that it is now locked in. Now to gather the patience to wait for titles (April! ).
