Re: Building in Bingara Gorge 833Aug 31, 2015 12:23 pm lemmstar Hi there M & M - we're also building the merlot elite and made some changes to the plan. Just sent you a PM but looks like its still in outbox. Keen to swap plans and have a look at what you guys did to yours. The plan has a lot of potential for modification and is a great design to work off. Cheers Danny Hi Danny, I've also tried to send you a PM but it's sitting in my outbox, not really sure how PMs work on here? Hopefully one of them will get through Are you also building in Bingara Gorge? I've heard yet again our registration date has been delayed to June-September 2017? Anyone else considering pulling out of the contract? Building Majestic 40 at Bingara Gorge Re: Building in Bingara Gorge 837Jun 11, 2016 9:09 pm Hi All Just wondering if anyone can help me with a question I have. Currently looking to purchase a property in the Greenbridge section, already established house. My question is regarding fencing on a corner lot - can I make a fence bigger? We have dogs that jump with ease, so the current 1.2m fencing is inadequate, and it also provides absolutely NO privacy. We would want to change it to 1.8m fencing. From what I understand, since its a corner lot, the fencing has different rules. Has anyone had luck with getting fencing changed? I dont want to change the whole lot, the front would stay the same. Just the side and rear fencing. As its just for us, I would not be asking either neighbour for payment, since its my requirement. If I were to hide such a fence with hedges, would that be ok? Hope this all makes sense! We fell in love with the house and want it, but I won't get rid of the dogs just for a house. Thank you! Re: Building in Bingara Gorge 838Jun 12, 2016 12:02 pm I would contact LL and ask them for the response in writing. You probably shouldn't as the Building and Siting Requirements would only allow for the current fence, but who knows with LL, they seem to do as they want at times Re: Building in Bingara Gorge 839Jun 14, 2016 3:46 pm Thank you for responding. I have contacted LL and they are going to get back to me regarding the fence. The lady I spoke too wasnt too sure on the requirements, especially as its a corner block. Hopefully they give me good news, that I can put up a bigger fence, so we can finally sign the paperwork! go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110895 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11162 |
