Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Aug 12, 2015 2:21 pm Who thinks it's crazy to put a new semi or frameless shower door in the ensuite of our 'new' home? The existing shower door has already had a leak (which hubby fixed with some silicone) and with all the door trims/fittings needs cleaning fairly often whereas a semi or frameless (which we had in our old house) will have hardly any fittings and have the wow factor..... we'll be staying in the house for a long time and we can afford the upgrade which will be in keeping with the rest of the house. Has anyone else done something like this - upgraded after a few years of building? Re: New shower door fter 4 years in our new house? 2Aug 17, 2015 9:28 am I think it’s a great idea to install a new semi or frameless shower door to your ensuite. It will not only make your bathroom look modern and beautiful, but it will be easy to clean and maintain. Besides this, it is structurally strong and can last for years.
Re: New shower door fter 4 years in our new house? 3Aug 17, 2015 10:05 am I'd say go for it! Especially if you see yourself living there for a while. You probably won't get a lot of money for it, but it may help relieve any concerns about the environmental cost of replacing stuff.
