They said they have capes, so they can fly up. This doesn't solve the problem of getting the shopping in. There are stairs going into the laundry. phew:: . Re: Custom build in Adelaide. 70Aug 01, 2015 2:53 pm Hey twindad, I think I read on the blue lady's thread that you got a Ce U Ce me light for your void There was a large 1 metre diameter one for sale on Gumtree recently -- for a bargain! In my suburb. I love those lights soooooo much and they go with my lighting scheme to a T. But my stairs are at side of house and not big enough, so I couldn't buy it It really needed a huge feature void to be gorgeous in. The two smaller ones clustered would have worked for me. I did track down the swing floor lamp, but I fought myself about whether I'd spend $1600 on it or convert the Ikea boom lamp I have to include an extra lamp shade of the ones I have already bought elsewhere in the house. They have the same feel in styling ie. textures colour and materials. Not as beautiful/classy though (shame I couldn't afford) ... The problem with them is apparently they don't come apart. So imagine trying to move it without a truck (I know mr TC has one but unfortunately we don't). Maybe it's for sale in gumtree because they couldn't get it through the door into the house. Yer the price for it was ridiculous but it is our statement piece. Looking at the style of your house I think i like the pendents you have chosen better. Actually I know I like them better. Using my LG-G4 to bring you this update. Re: Custom build in Adelaide. 72Aug 02, 2015 8:25 pm Yeah, wouldn't suit my house (or pocket) Hehe, that's funny, maybe that is why they're selling it. They probably had to leave it in their driveway I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34269 6 55346 So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27708 |
