I see ur garage is on the opposite side to us. Did u change that? Is ur master bedroom at the back f the house? We also extended the alfresco and added the media room. Did u? Desertdwellers DG85 I'm also surprised it's not a 'common' home. I Just assumed most people had wider blocks of land then i. I agree...cant believe there are not more people building a parkhill. i might be a tad bias but think its a great layout. we orginally wanted the armadale 42 (qld) but due to the small width of our block couldnt have it. the parkhill has been a great compromise for us. We finally got to have a walk through last week as we flew up to QLD and were surprised at how large the rooms felt (ecspecially the study) gyprocking and bricks due to start shortly so we are looking forward to it looking more like a home. Garage is on the same side as ours. Just mirror reversed the plan Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Yep, garage is on the other side and master is at the rear. we turned the front living into a media room, extended the alfresco, turned the WIP to a butlers pantry and adjusted some window sizes/locations other than that everything else is pretty standard. our place is being "reverse built" so cant wait for all of the internal fitout to start, we have had alot accomplished since starting 2.5 months ago, hopefully the pace stays steady and we can get in well before christmas Building a Parkhill with multiple variations in QLD http://thathousetherurisbuilt.blogspot.com.au/ -Blog updated regularly Re: Who is building or built a Parkhill by Clarendon? 16Jul 24, 2015 4:24 pm DG85 Dessert dwellers we turned the front living into a gym and also made the WIP a butlers pantry. This isn't the first time I'm getting this sort of comments for Clarendon, is it so bad that we should rule it out?? We had a family friend say his neighbours experienced what I'm reading here regarding delays.. but they also had Quality problems which is MORE worrying. I rather they take time and do it well! We also are considering Wisdom homes and Rawson. For the Parkhill, can I ask how much more did they charge for the Media at the back and extended Alfresco? I really like that option at the display home. FirstHomeBuilder2015 We are just starting to build the Parkhill 29, limited changes to the layout but a fair number of upgrades have pushed up the price a bit. The parkhill is a great design for the base price. Although the paperwork and approvals have been slow, I would still recommend Clarendon (we are building with Clarendon QLD); they have good attention to detail and the customer service has been good. We have had a pretty turbulent time with them so far but I blame a lot of that on myself for being so fussy. If i didn't come from a building background it would have more than likely gone a little smoother. I will have costs and upgrades up soon. Could anyone please be able to give me the approximate costs of Clarendon facades for Madison or Creatmead 40 Home...I like the Gallery Façade on Madison 39 at Mango Hill...in BRisbane Thanks The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant.
