Photo Memorabilia Framing Ideas?

Hi all,

I have a number of 8x10 signed photos (maybe 10?)from various celebrities and I was looking for some framing ideas to put on the wall that will look trendy but not cluttered.

My wife and I both agree that if it's done properly that it could look really cool but just not sure where to start.

Do I frame them all individually? or put them all in one huge frame? etc etc.

Any advice/suggestions would be great!

Hi Ben,
I think if you frame them individually and different sizes that can look real interesting and can become a real feature. Below (link to my blog) is a similar to what I mean, you really want the frames to have that 'scattered' look.

Hi BenJones,

My first question would be what is the style of your home and room the photos are going to go in, and what look are you trying to achieve? Modern/contemporary? Or more traditional/formal? Also what is the size of the wall they are going to go on? This could determine whether they are all framed as one collage, or as individual pieces. 'Art' has to fit the wall space, otherwise it looks out of proportion.

Here is my more formal gallery wall in my lounge room. These are 11x14 prints, so a little larger than yours, and framed individually.

The possibilities are endless, but I think it all depends on what look you are trying to achieve.

A montage is always nice - imo.

But - maybe a hall of fame along your hall wall - ie out of the way - but seen as people wander to the toilet, bedrooms etc.

I like wall picture stepped - not all even and straight. Also - not to many of yourselves - ie an ego wall.

Yes I realised I l.i.e.d because I do have a few quote canvases in my house lol but I have been considering art for when our house is built so our new place won't be so much the same lol
