Fair point, but also consider wide angle photography makes spaces look bigger than they actual are. I think the taps like that are a great idea.... you can get the water to the right temp without getting wet. The taps like that are also great if you have to shower kids. When DS was younger and I turned the shower on for him, I always got covered in water. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I got worried when I saw that our shower taps were not centred to the shower rose, till someone smart pointed out to me that was the reason why Electrical just got back to me and said the most they can provide is a single power point on the Bedroom 1 side of that wall.
