This data is from previous weekend, and not this weekend.

We only tried to turn in solar over that weekend to see what difference it would make.

Thats very good then. How much did the solar panels cost and which company did you go with? If you don't mind me asking.

It's a 4 kW system, cost was around $4700 from solar freedom.

That data above is only correct for the weekends to compare. We used solar only on the weekend, as it wasn't officially on.

You are absolutely right, with current very low feed in tariff solar is only beneficial if one can use it during the day time.

Wifey is running her business from home and she would be using most power generated by this system. So it's like win win for us.

But it might not be a suitable alternative for everyone due to personal lifestyle and routine.

We are having massive vibration problems with our washing machine to such an extend that it is walking away from its place when spinning laundry. Did you have any problem like this or any suggestion what to do?, Hubby installed it. Its bosch Avantixx. Also our dishwasher door wont stay open for us to load it, it shuts straight away.

That's not good at all. I would suggest calling Bosch customer service and ask for a tech visit.

We recently bought Bosch dishwasher and built in microwave oven from good guys in Essendon DFO. No issues so far with either of them.

Our Bosch washing machine is about 5 years old now and still working like brand new.

Called bosch customer service all fixed. Thanks for your help. Hubby did nit follow full installation instructions that was why

As per plan, decided to give it crack with 3 sleepers in hand today.

This is how high it would be at the end.

Today installed all three available as bottom row which I believe was bit harder part to make sure levels are correct. It seems like going upward won't be hard.

I been told to go and hand pick each and every sleeper as they might give me slightly bent ones. Don't know how correct is that?

I bought these three from bunnings and could not find any slightly bent one there in 75mm thickness.

Otherwise I'm happy to order online and get them delivered before weekend.

What's expert opinion you guys have on this?

Mirz, once you've got the first course of sleepers done, the rest are easy.

I've bought a few batches of sleepers in batches (20-30) sight unseen, and never had bends in 75mm widths. 50mm widths are more inconsistent.

Just had our quarterly electricity bill for $620 after the 20% pay on time discount. We are currently renting a modern, very small 3 bed unit. Solar is certainly looking very appealing.
