Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The pullout on the left will be used for items that are not used every day (due to the pantry/laundry entry door being so close) Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine:Internet On = Photos 551Jun 18, 2015 9:38 pm Here are a couple of better photos I just took Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So I guess a "little" update is in order! We have been VERY busy to say the least hubby has been busy getting his shed powered up, lights have been organised but are yet to be installed. Busy planting our garden and spreading about 4 massive loads of mulch all for free! We needed to back fill our retaining walls so we bought a bob cat (to save my back) I think I did one load in our trailer and said nup hire a bob cat please! We have a fair bit of dirt that needs to move around the house so the logical thing to do was buy a bob cat rather than hiring. The next big job which will be done after our holidays in July is getting the road base and gravel for the driveway and the for in front of the shed (bob cat comes in handy!) As I said we have had our limestone retaining wall installed, looks fabulous! I will share my phone photos with my Ipad so that I can add photos of the walls off to do that now! The pantry looks very practical but complicated. Couldn't work out at first how it wouldn't bump things off the opposite shelves if you closed the door but I see the 'inside' set is on a track thingy so also move! Clever stuff. Wow your own bobcat how cool is that haha. Your retaining walls and shed look great and I LOVE the steps - it'll look amazing when all done Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine: Belated update 556Jun 21, 2015 2:05 am Ooh bobcat envy here! That would be very cool!! Love that pantry idea Speedway, and your landscaping is looking awesome. Do love the big limestone blocks. Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine: Belated update 557Aug 28, 2015 12:34 pm Hi Speedway chick, may I ask how much it cost you to have your sand pad retained? Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine: Belated update 558Aug 31, 2015 9:50 am Wow how did I miss your updates? Pantry looks great and I can't believe how quick your grass came up <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine: Belated update 559Aug 31, 2015 11:30 am Thanks guys! I'm loving the pantry (still) the whole block before earthworks started was covered in grass we are really working with it at the moment lots of weed and feed. A good mow every weekend still a lot of patches here and there we have just had our rain water tank installed to pitures to follow Re: Building with Gemmill in Serpentine: Belated update 560Jul 13, 2016 4:01 pm So I just realised I have not updated for a while, i think its time to start a new thread now based on the improvements and installations not referenced to Gemmil, but before this thread is signed off here are the pics of the rainwater tank, although late, as promised.
