Hi everyone,
Firstly, let me introduce myself. I am new to this forum and I am so glad to have found it! Thanks to my friend who are also building a house in VIC at the moment!
My partner and I have bought a land in Wyndham Waters estate in Williams Landing. The land will settle in April 2009. We are planning to sign a contract in June 2009 and hopefully can start building immediately after signing.
After researching around for the house designs that we like and can afford, I would say its finally down to two builders. 1st - Dennis Family Homes' Harvard 27. 2nd - H3nley' Carinya.
Link for Harvard 27 - http://www.dennisfamilyhomes.com.au/dfh ... o=Overview
Link for carinya (although I am sure that most of the people in this forum are familiar with carinya) - http://www.vic.henley.com.au/#/House/69/
To be honest, I do really like and prefer the floorplan in the DFH Harvard 27. And I also prefer the exterior look/facade of the harvard 27 estate facade.
However, after studying more carefully, I find that the standard inclusions in H3nley are much more than DFH (ie. we prefer the inclusions and fittings in H3nley).
So now I am sort of confused and cant really decide on which house to go for Apart from this issue, I am also not sure which of the builder has a better reputation. The forum seems to suggest mixed views on H3nley, some good and some bad experiences. I hope people who have built or currently building with DFH and H3nley can assist me.
Anyway, sorry for the long post ( I hope I am clear enough ) and thanks for reading. I would really appreciate any advice that I can get from the people in this forum. Thanks in advance!
Stephen
