For those that have used EHI for shutters. I have found their quote quite competitive. How did people find their workmanship? Excellent. Mine have been in for about 2 weeks and I absolutely love them. Thanks Penno. I was just re reading the quote and their shutters are listed as 'Basswood/Ecowood Combination'. Is it your understanding that they are not 100% basswood shutters? Due to finish bricks this sat. andrew92 Has anyone had the same problem I am having at the moment every week we getdelayed for the brick layer. It is so annoying I have asked them to reverse build. My house and the answer was a flat out no really disappointed Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 7816May 27, 2015 12:48 pm That's correct penno For 2 storey - They will brick 80% then do roof then finish bricks. That's what happened to us. PennoDream Andrew, I didn't think you can do a reverse build on a two story. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 7817May 27, 2015 1:05 pm Hoping the weather holds out for us.. forecast says there is a possibility of rain around midnight of Thurs/Friday and then clear again.. just like last week... just hope it holds out is all.. it would suck to get one day of brick laying and then get delayed by weather.. I really want to see progress on the house.. it's only actually been 3 weeks or so since the frame stage but it just feels like it's been ages. Eco wood is a mixturr of plastic and wood. It has its benefits as there is hardly any maintenance on it but it also has its bad points. They scratch easily due to the plastic content and you can't sand them like hardwood. On their advertising, they mention all the good points but you won't find scratch resistant. the stair balustrades? The Dept of Fair Trading would love to see this one! Do the gutters pool water after it stops raining? Although it's… 4 7843 |
