Browse Forums Building A New House Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 2May 22, 2015 12:37 am Hi Charlotte2B, How did you go with choosing a builder? We have recently built in Lawleyprivate Estate in Charlottes. We went through Home Group WA? Im not really sure how I feel about them now. But all in all... they got the job done in a good time frame. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 3May 22, 2015 12:52 am Hi Tonk. We ended up going with Ideal homes. Its taken a little longer than I had hoped to get to this point.... we are waiting on council approval atm.... but overall have had a fairly decent run with them so far. I love how everything came together for your house. Looks lovely. I can't wait to be where you are Fingers crossed all my choices work as well as yours Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 4May 22, 2015 9:04 am It's such an exciting process. I would di it again in a heartbeat. A bit stressful at times. That's where this forum helps. Have you chosen your house design? Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 5May 22, 2015 12:01 pm We have and we had pre start a couple of weeks ago.
Ill try to upload a image Not sure if this will work? Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 9May 23, 2015 8:32 am Oh wow! Your house is going to be awesome! I love your kitchen layout with gallery benches and stove fridge freezer and m/w oven/ pot drawer to the side. And your pantry is huge. So is your master bedroom. That WIR is like another room . Your going to love that big alfresco too. I think your colour choices will look well together. Shale grey is one of my favourite colours. So exciting Thank you for sharing. Whereabouts are you in Charlottes? Are you in Lawley Private Estate as too? I know there are lots of new block sites heading towards Charlottes Vista. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 10May 23, 2015 10:10 pm Thanks Tonk. Our WIP was originally a bath in our ensuite which we deleted so I could increase the pantry size Much rather heaps more storage than a second bath to clean. We are actually on Charlottes Vista but not in Lawley estate. It looks like it is a lovely area. Do you have kids who go to the nearby schools ? Re: building in Charlottes Vineyard - Ellenbrook 11May 23, 2015 11:08 pm Good decision to delete the bath for extra pantry. I think you will appreciate it more. My daughter and her young family live with us. My grandchildren go to St Helena. It's a great school. Our friends children go to Arbour Grove primary, and they are very happy with the school. Love the WIR Your render colours are very similar to ours and they look great together. A really nice contrast Good luck with the build!
