Re: With Eaves, without eaves, eaves to some walls only..??? 17May 20, 2015 7:18 am The presence/lack of eaves also represents a style. Some people prefer the look without eaves. It's a bit more fortress-like. Re: With Eaves, without eaves, eaves to some walls only..??? 18May 20, 2015 9:19 am I agree that some house designs need the "No eave" look. When it comes down to practical building design for climate, shading for protection from rain and sun eaves will work very well but I acknowledge that there are other methods of achieving this outcome. Most houses like the above, have the eave going around the bedroom corner at least 1 - 2m, which I don't mind. Wish my builder could confirm if that was possible. Re: With Eaves, without eaves, eaves to some walls only..??? 20May 21, 2015 10:36 am We're having eaves everywhere except the garage, as we don't need them there and it's a cost-saving measure. Plus I thought it looked better. Due to the changing angle of the sun between summer and winter, eaves provide good protection in summer while allowing the sun in during winter. Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3273 I thought this would be a popular question but I haven't been able to find any similar posts. Perhaps I'm wording my searches wrong? When you have car insurance and the… 0 6623 Update from me! Couldn't find the trimmer - not sure if there isn't one simply because the eave is so narrow. Went ahead with the spring toggles and it all worked out… 7 5877 |
