However this could be shorter. We are waiting on Form21?! And once issued our SS should update us with new timeframe. I've got to get the paperwork across to the bank for valuation and approval too. No new pictures today. Looks exactly as it did 2 days ago Re: Coral Homes general build thread 1014May 05, 2015 2:39 pm s_mack Looks exactly as it did 2 days ago But with dots! I notice your power is on, did you organise it or did Coral ? I was at our house this afternoon going through our contract and variations and tried the light switch( nothing happened)sorry if it's a silly question, if I need to organise it I will before walk through next week,Julie Re: Coral Homes general build thread 1017May 05, 2015 7:48 pm jul33m1 How exciting s_mack,your on the home stretch. So I went around in a frenzy testing all the lights (forgot the power points!). It wasn't on when we were there today but the sparkie had been working on the under cabinet lights. I assume your power is connected probably just turned off at the mains? They would need to have it on at some point to get cert and ensure everything works. I meant to take a lamp and test the power points today but forgot. That might be an idea for you before walk through. The other preparation we did was get the tender and variations and walk through ticking off each individual item. Our SS was great at finding defects but also go through yourself and make note of any paint defects/dents etc. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 1018May 05, 2015 8:24 pm All this talk of sticky dots and power has me excited. Our frame and trusses seem to be finished today.. they were still on the roof at 4pm but no trusses were.left on the ground so i assume they were all up and trying to finish it and not have to come.back tomorrow. Now to guess when roof tiles will go on (they hadn't been delivered that i could see). Question for everyone, where have you nominated for the internal communications cabinet to go? It's the one with the data and phone point.. Also are you supposed to have a meeting about data requirements etc? What about something to ensure foxtel can be installed later on, is there something I should do to ensure that's all good? Sorry, not a tech head at all... Re: Coral Homes general build thread 1020May 05, 2015 9:12 pm jul33m1 How exciting s_mack,your on the home stretch. I believe they put it In to your name for you, pretty sure on the contract you need to supply power and water. But happy to be corrected because I need to connect gas etc aswell. Sorry, not a tech head at all... We stuck ours in the garage, then it was going to go into the pantry but decided on garage again because I want to put a cabinet In. We got the phone moved into the dining area not that we use a home phone. But it's all personal preference, you need to think what your going to have, for us as I said, I'm going to put a cabinet in with a network switch and many wired points around the house. For some people just one point would be enough for the WiFi router so you could stick that in the main area like dining, family or kitchen area. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14597 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14970 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 5992 |
