Can anyone tell me if at the new WOS showroom there is a black/charcoal stain for the staircase?

Hey Sogg. Not sure of stain colours but we have been advised that the stairs in the Waldorf at Berwick Waters is a black stain.

Having stared at them for ages today I should have an easy answer for you but we were zoned in on the other side of the spectrum! But yes, I'm pretty sure I saw black/charcoal. Would have been good if I'd taken a photo of it.

So as an update - I met with Michael today (Operations Manager). He was great - and very measured. We went through and resolved all the outstanding matters. He was very professional - which made a pleasant change. Hopefully this is the last of the administrative issues and now I can focus on the house itself - which now has a roof on top of the frame.

So frustrated and angry about the whole thing. Honestly, if you can’t take your Building Coordinator’s word for anything, whose word are you supposed to take?

I understand completely. You have taken all the correct measures to ensure you receive exactly what you want and still the outcome is different.

I think PD should add a picture and part# of the shower screen you will be getting in the 'Selections' document.

That way it would reduce confusion and customer dissatisfaction.

Thanks joea - yeah, that selections document is way too vague. Maybe ask them to put the name and part number in a PCV, as a 'clarification? In hindsight, I guess that's what we should have done, but we still had a good relationship with PD at that point and believed an email and a bit of good faith, on their part, would be enough. :-(

Agreed. That's what I plan to do, thank you for sharing this issue it will most likely save myself and others going through the same thing.

I also think they should have a list on the wall of each room to list what is standard and what is an option. Otherwise it's all on the Sales Rep to know it by heart and not miss anything when you do the walk through.

The contract states 168 days. Is that working days?

If it is then it's not really 24 weeks!

Site cut for me was July 1st 2015... Contract states 238 days which would of been Feb 24th 2015... Its now April 22nd and im still no closer to having keys to the house, SS cant even give me an estimated PCI Date.
I might be in the running for Longest Porter Davis house build... Behind Tlblhayward ofcourse

Yeah add us to that list!

Our site start was exactly 2 months after yours, but with all the issues with our bricks, PCI is nowhere in sight for us.

We used Apex Demolitions and happy with the service.
Found the team friendly, easy to talk etc etc.
