The block runs down from the road and there is no storm water main that I can crack into.I want to know if there is a better alternate option then a rubble pit. Using a proper soakwell which is a tank with holes through the sides. (see http://www.anewhouse.com.au/2014/09/soakwells/) The extra volume means that much more capacity for the initial rain giving the system more time for the water to seep away. 2. Installing a rainwater tank preferably supplying water to at least the toilets.
